An expert in leading in a hybrid workplace
Jennifer Ladouceur has diverse leadership and management experiences and backgrounds, with senior leadership experience in the public as the former Director of Economic Development and Culture at the City of Vaughan and in the private sector working for large international business consulting and venture capital firms. Jennifer is also an accomplished serial entrepreneur, having built and successfully sold two businesses. Insights Success Magazine has recognized her as 1 of 20 successful businesswomen to watch in 2020, and she has won the Women of Influence Award in the entrepreneurship category.
Jennifer is a researcher, writer, public speaker, podcaster, and business consultant who is deeply committed to tackling challenging problems in the business world by creating new business models and leadership approaches. Jennifer recently completed her Ph.D. at Walden University, where she studied leading in a hybrid workplace, gender equality in the workplace, and the future of work. Jennifer is also the executive producer and host of the Women Leadership Nation, Breaking Barriers Podcast. Jennifer also holds an MBA from Athabasca University, a Master of Philosophy from Walden University, a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard University, completed the York Entrepreneurship Development Business Incubator Program, obtained a Master Certificate in Municipal Leadership at York University, a Graduate Diploma in Management at Athabasca University, an Economic Development Certification and designation at the University of Waterloo, and studied business at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology.
Jennifer is a passionate public speaker and has delivered hundreds of presentations, including speaking at TEDxVaughan. She has published many articles on leadership and economic development. She is writing her first book on leading in a hybrid workplace and understanding how existing and aspiring leaders can overcome the emerging “Hybrid Workplace Serendipity Gap” and thrive as successful hybrid leaders.
